pirate skull AWOL
The skull of 14th century pirate, Klaus Stortebeker has been stolen from
a Hamburg museum. Found in 1867, the skull had been nailed to a stake on an island in the Elbe river for hundreds of years. Legend has it that when he was captured and beheaded in 1400, his body rose from the ground and ran past eleven of his men. His name translates to "empty the mug with one gulp". Seriously? Who would want to mess with this pirate, even if it is only his skull? If said skull is found, feel free to ship to our Brooklyn store.
